Air Flow Meter Question

What's up I had a quick question about the air meter. I was wondering if the air meter from a 323 let's say a 1990- 94 is interchangable with a protege of 90-94. Thanxs for your help..

hm, something relatively unexplored...

how would one go about doing this?

this has been mapped many times. i have seen this topic raise back in 2002.

if the engines are the same then the VAF is interchangable. so a 1.8L sohc out of a 323 will swap with that of a 1.8L sohc in a protege.

a 1.6L sohc vaf will "work" with a 1.8L dohc but you will see a powerloss and vice versa

the '88 nonturbo rx7 vaf swap is "performance mod" that will not work on the single cam engine. and needs to be turned to your engine.
