Air Flow Meter HELL

ok...so i let my brother drive my car right...and we get to a light..and he decides he wants to rev the car...so he revs the car and the car shuts off. So we barely get to my house and start trying to figure out whats wrong. We find that tha car isnt ideling right..and like at 5000 RPMS is bogs out and sputters alot. So he disconnects the AIR FLOW METER and the car idles fine. We connect it and the acts up again. So were thinkin its the air flow meter. So i go get one from a junk yard and try to see what happens of i use another one and its ever worse. I dunno whats goin on..but im hoping its the air flow meter..any suggestions?...being that i did the gtx swap?..any other replacement aif flow meters that might work with it?..

hmm, that's odd. When I disconnect my airflow meter, the car runs for about 2 seconds and then stalls.

I'm not sure what's wrong with it, I can't even get my car to start with the AFM disconnected. I do have a spare air flow meter hanging around that I'll sell for cheap if you're interested.
