90-94 Hoods

will a 90-94 hood fit on my 90 protege?

greenlantern94 January-26th-2004 10:48 PM

not necessarily. in either 93 or 94 mazda redesigned the front end. so be careful.

The 94's have a different hood from the 90-93 models. There were a few 93's that came with the 94 hood. Basically the 90-93 hood will work.

Mazda 323 and the 94 Protege both use the same headlights. That's why someone with a 90-93 Protege should not buy a 94 hood. They would also have to start looking for either 323 or 94 Protege headlights since they're one in the same.

93 GTs have the '323' hood. Without that little lump near the windshield though....it's hard to find a hood for my car, that's for sure....

Like I mentioned above: that some 93's have that 94 hood. I didn't know that it was a 93 Protege GT, specifically.
