1st steps... gett'n the '92 back road worthy

My uncles says if i buy the paint/help him prep, he will paint my '92 any color i want.... now... to choose a color...

ghettopro December-5th-2005 10:20 AM

Dark Green, or dark platinum!

would say more, but Im at school and Im bored....

Jackelope December-5th-2005 10:34 AM

i was leaning toward Mazda Red Fire Pearl or Mazda Nordic Green Metallic B/C

ghettopro December-5th-2005 10:37 AM

I would get green, but thats just b/c prefer green over red anyways..but hey, its your car..

I just think the older ones look good in green, the red makes them look i dunnoo...old..

Jackelope December-5th-2005 10:42 AM

i really like that green myself... now if i can talk my father-in-law into tak'n the time to swap the other engine in... :)

ghettopro December-5th-2005 10:48 AM

Evo_ODY_ROLLA_TEGE_FZ1 February-19th-2006 07:29 PM

can I say....................................... only option> ;) haha go for it..you'll love it.

Roddimus Prime February-19th-2006 09:08 PM

what are your plans for the car? trying to mod a green car isn't real easy....a common color would be better if you plan on adding cosmetics later.

ghettopro February-19th-2006 11:18 PM

If you paint it black, be prepared to wash it every freakin day, b/c those show more dirt than any other color i have ever seeen.

Evo_ODY_ROLLA_TEGE_FZ1 February-20th-2006 03:56 AM

thats the price you pay if you wanna look good;)

ghettopro February-20th-2006 08:45 AM

Ive seen blue cars look good, ive seen red cars look good, ive seen "champaigne"(sp) cars look good.

basically, ANYTHING but red(make insurance higher) would be a good option, that is, if you want the details of your car to show.

If the car isnt in good good body condition, you can always throw black on there that way they cant see the lines of the car, lol. Ive seen alot of black 92's they are fairly decent looking, tho you can hardly tell its a protege, and where I live proteges are rare, so its fun t be different.

i own a black msp, i know about the washing... and washing... and washing...

not sure exact plans yet... only thing i KNOW is that i gotta replace the seals... fun!

and i will be "shaving" stuff when i get it repainted... and removing the door guards, etc.

ghettopro February-20th-2006 05:38 PM
