Do you know at what intervals this should be done? I remember changing the tranny fluid a few years back. Probably around 30k ago.

my dad found it for me at some Radiator place we have here in WV where I live. when he brought it home to me, I was like "OMG, THE GUYS ARE GOING TO SHIT!"

I'm not sure how much, I think he told me 116, and we got it somewhere here, I can find out for you guys, if you are interested in purchasing one.

Radiator

My small crack has gotten larger. I fog out the other cars at lights. If you have any info, that would be great.

thanks

Radiator

I got one today. All metal, lifetime warranty, delivered to my door in two hours from the time of my call.....169.00 for everything. It was a little more than I found online. I think it was worth the service and friendly staff. Called 1-800-252-0333. The ad in the yellow pages said radiator.com, the box said 1-800 RADIATOR. I'm not sure if it's a National, East Coast, or Philly distributor. Intall tomorrow if it's not raining.

It might be a good idea to change the upper and lower radiator hoses while you're at it. About $20-$30 will do the job for both. Let us know how the install goes.

Thanks for the advice. I'll keep you posted on the install.

damn dude....

dammn dude, that's expensive, mine was 109......

brogeflog April-26th-2003 07:50 AM

Yeah, I know. I didn't want to shop around too much or wait a few days for it. It seemed like it was ready to expode. I use the car for work, plus I have a golf tournament in NJ on Monday and I will sit in traffic both ways. The few extra bucks was worth the service.

just take care of your poor pro...please

Radiator in!

All done! It took a little longer than I expected (threw in an oil change and a bath). The fan and radiator came out easy. The resevoir took longer to get out than the radiator (air box removal). I kept shooting the hose clamps all over the driveway. Everytime I had them compressed enough to slip on the hose pwwinnnggg! Filled it up, started it up, no leaks, whew!

Thanks for the support!
