Zx2 trunk kit shocks/struts and coil-overs?

Will the shocks in the Ford Motorsports Zx2 trunk kit work with a threaded body coil-over kit? thanks, rob

What about the front struts- it looks as though they have a welded on lower perch. I've only used coil-overs with straight tube shocks that have clip or ring on the body to support the lower perch. Just wondering if protege owners are using the Ford kit with a coil over set up and how they're managing the welded on perch. thanks- rob

I'm using threaded coilovers (made for the pro) with the ZX2 struts. No problems whatsoever with installing it.;) If the welded on perch will support the springs why not the coilover springs? Mine sit just fine and level.

thanks for the answers. Now I know to keep an eye for the coil-over deals. But first it's clutch time.
