ZX2 Tokicos w/ stock springs

I know they are designed for the eibach springs, but was wondering if they will work ok with stock '94 escort GT springs. I don't want to alter my cars appearance in any way so lowering is not an option. Just wondering if anyone has tried this combo and what they think.

the eibachs really don't effect ride hight appearance too much...the 1" drop isn't too noticable...

you'd be suprised....with the right size wheel/tire combo it can make all the difference.

they weren't custom, but 1.25"

there's a difference on cablemircs car, even with stock wheels.

I noticed that his car was lowered right away. How come the drop was 1.25" instead of 1" ?

that is exactly it.....the cars susp is weak after 10 years...so it sags a bit....and it's easy for US as pro owners to tell ....but to a lot of people....it doesn't look lowered....unless you are parked next to the exact same car...i had stock replaced with the tociko/eibach combo and the handling was a bit better ....but i'm sure that it will make even more of a noticable diff when i put my sway and strut barz on ..and have my 50 pro falkens on .....

anyways..why don't you want the car to look lowered?

actually had em for 12 years....and cablemircs struts are blown, so it looks lower...so ya, it looks like 1.5". they might sag a bit., but i used em for racing and they still did a good job... GO EIBACH!

the 1.25" drop must have been a fluke......

Well, for one its an escort. It would be an embarassment (even more than now) to be seen in one lowered...like I'm trying to hot rod an escort;) Also, I want it to look like a stock shitbox when the turbo is on, that way mustang owners will get a REAL big suprise. It was my sisters college car so she beat the hell out of it, so i'm not interested in looks - just performance. I also like to do some rally style driving and like the ground clearance the way it sits.

dosen't mean you can't get taller coilover springs and keep stock height.

Eibach is justifiably proud of its quality control. They test their springs so that they don't sag. If they do, they will replace them.
