Who has the best coilovers?
 

what company makes the best coilovers for the 1st gen? i need to know since thats my next project. thanks

I think there are super-expensive ones, but I hear great things about the ground controls for the price. I've heard not-so great things from weapon-r, and I think there is another cheaper brand out there too.

Ground Control are probably the best coilovers you can get, but they are a bit pricey. Around $400:eek:

the Ford ZX2 racing set up looks pretty nice. Talked to guy with a ZX2 with them on and he definetely likes them. Mind you they are overkill for street use.

One does not have that much of a choice because of the lack of aftermarket support for the Protege.

It's obvious that there is always a 'better' product if money is not an issue, but that's rarely the case.
