Suspension Setup
 

Just wanted to know what everyone thinks of this setup and I am wondering if it is a good setup for auto-x.

Sprint Extreme Lowring Springs (2 inch drop)
Tokico Struts
Ractive Front Strut Tie Bar
Aftermarket (Not sure on company) Rear Strut Tie Bar

Well, I'm just starting the setup. I'm looking into the ST sway bars for the front and back. It leans too much for me right now cuz i've got a bad habit of pushing it in turns.:D

Well, as far as tires go, I'm running P185/60R14 Bridgestone Potenzza 930i's and they seem to handle well. Where cna I find a lower tie bar?

The RE930s are better than stock, but for autocross, they'll make more noise than stick (from personal experience). For stock rims, you can't beat the Falken Azenis. Actually, you can't beat them in 15's either. Any larger will just slow you down.

Lower tie bar? Darryl or Corksport. Darryl's is stronger, but hangs down quite a bit more (you can see it hanging down under his car in both of his sig pics, across between the lower control arms). The Corksport bar is about an inch higher up.

true, it does hang down low, i personally have not had any problems, but others have had clearance problems. It is strong and it does work well, but there's always a trade off. Also makes for a nice stretching bar or swing when it's up on the rack at work :):)

i have been getting some emails lately from ppl wanting the tie bars, i may just have enough for a small run off, 5-7 So if you want some (both front and rear) then email me or PM me or post here.

i noticed a night and day change when i stepped up to the Falkens from the Kumhos, IMHO they are THE tire to have in STS.

you may want to think about upgrading to a 15" wheel/tire
