Rear tire wear
 

My 323 is wearing the rear tires faster than the fronts.
What could be causing this?
Bad alignment?
Bad struts?
Bad driving?

Probably more a combination of the first two. Also, improper inflation can cause bad tire wear. Bad driving only applies if you drift every corner in your city.

i really think it's a natural occurance on our cars, the way the rear suspension is designed, it scrubs a bit, by changing the toe slightly when you turn. Atleast this is the best guess i came up with, actually maybe it was Davard who came up with it, i recal we had a discussion about it once...but thats the jist of it.

This is of course, if all other parts or settings are correct and within spec (i.e, struts are good, bushings are good, tire pressures, alignment is good, etc)

Where is the majority of the wear? Inside, outside, middle, etc?

It wears evenly across the tread width. Slightly more in the center as I like to run my tires at 40 psi for longer life. I've set up my car for long distance high speed driving as my commute is a bitch.

My best guess is the rear toe is wrong. Likely toe-in. If you had enough toe-out to create significant tire wear, you'd be spinning all the time. (Just ask Jesse :) ).
