mx-3 struts question

I know that the mx-3 struts fit the 1-gen pro but which year mx-3, and which engine the 6 or the 4. and I know the struts are more firm but would getting the springs help some more too or are they the same.

any year MX3, they all used the BG chassis. The V6, both struts and springs are stiffer than the Protege.

For Tokicos, they are the same shock, as they are for most aftermarket shocks. The only shocks were there is a difference between the two is OEM and Mazdaspeed.

But the V-6 springs are usually stiffer than the 4-cyl, which is most times the same part numbers as the EGT and Protege. You'd have to compare parts numbers to know for sure.
