lowboyz adjustable coilovers

Does anyone know anything about these coilovers? I found them on the AIM Industries web site. They say it fits 1990 - 1996 mazda protege. Looks like its an entire setup complete with threaded strut. Only $239. Here is the link:

I don't know about those, looks like 250 only for the front, and they're not showing anything about the rear. I bought my adjustable coilovers from those guys, I don't know if you've read my other thread yet, and they've been dicking me around about my springs. Last Monday i called them about the springs and they said that they were going to send me new ones. I waited till today and still no springs, so i called them. To my amazement, they still haven't sent the springs. So they say they will be here in 2-3 days, but i'm gonna wait and see. They really didn't have a problem with replacing them though. Well the first 5-6 times i called they acted like they didn't hear me, but after i inquired about a part on a different phone call they magically got their hearing back. If i had it to do all over again i would've just went with the ground controls. It's your choice though.

those are slide overs, like the weapon R and the ground control , you just slide them over your factory strut and umm it is a wrap ,... nice if you live where smooth roads are

They have regular coil lowering springs for all gens. for $119. Cheaper then Sprints!

But $239 for coilovers aint all that bad...

Shock Cartridge included? im confused:confused:

If you look closer its only for the front. At first I thought it was for 4. I think by shock cartridge included they mean the kind of coilover where the threaded part is built into the shock. Supposed to be better than the ones with a slip over sleeve.

I'll be able to tell you in a couple weeks, my friend's (2 of them) ordered the 90 dollar coilovers for their cars.. (120 for us :/)

One of them owns a DA integra (90-93) and an EF civic.

Dennis, just ordered the 240 dollar ones for his car, he said they feel quite well. But honeslty, when we received the coilovers for my friend's cars, i wasn't too impressed with he quality..

If you want good quality coilovers for cheap, THIS place has 'em for $265 shipped.

I donno about fitment on the newer proteges, but for 90-97, just get the stuff that says 94-97 or 1st gen sephia. Its basically the same suspension, weight etc as the 2nd gen protege.

yes the strut w/ thread is wayy better than the slip on coil overs, because this strut w/ thread u can lower em all the way and still feel the same (not bouncy) the piston inside is short thats y . its not bottoming out compare to the stock ones w/ slip ons coil over...
