How hard is it to install sway bars???

Is it possible to install sway bars by yourself or do you need a professional to install them??

the rear is a peice of cake, but the front is much harder, as you must remove the crossmember. It goes up and over, rather than down and under.

This statement depends on whcih front sway bar you are installing. If you are installing the ST front bar, it's not too hard, but having a friend and two floor jacks (you have jackstands, right?) helps, but isn't that necessary. I took off my front ST bar a while back to change the LCA bushings, and it only took about 20-30 minutes to put it all back on (by myself). But I do have two floor jacks.

Hey guys,

a question abt swaybars and lower tie bars.... im thinking of getting into the list for the custom tie bars from mazdaracer.....

but was wondering which one would be better to install first, the sway bars or the lower tie bars??

and also, can anyone tell me the major differences between them??

thanks guys
