dropzone coilovers

does anyone here actually have dropzone coilovers because ive been getting mixed sayings about the quality. who here is actually running them and can backup what they say?

i've got them on my car. so far i've not had any problems out of them. they don't squeak. the car handles much better. they were relatively simple to install. the only issue i thought i may have had was that the car bounces like crazy. i had one of my honda friends drive it however, and he said that it bounces less than his, and i'm adjusted as low as i can go. overall i've got nothing else to compare them to but i'd buy them again.

The car bounces like crazy because you have exceeded the capacity of your struts. I can probably assume that your running the coilovers on your already over worked factory struts. The simpliest solution would be to get new dampners, Bilsteins are exellent quality and will allow you to custom order them exactly to your spring rate requirements. But this raises a problem....Dropzone coilovers are pieces of crap that use the same spring rate for every application, there is a reason they are only $100, and trying to get spring rates from them will most likely be impossible.

My suggestion to you would be to buy a pre matched strut/spring combo from a reputable company. It will cost you much more that your current set up and not drop as low, but they car will actually handle better.

PS Slamming your car does not make it handle better, it makes it worse...remember kids keep those a-arms parrallel to the road.
