Chamber kit for G1 pro

I'm about install my springs within a month and I was wondering if it would be wise to get a chamber kit? What benefits will I get from it?

I found this kit.... Is it worth it?:D

1.7 in the front and 1.5 in the back

wow, that looks like a nice kit, cheap price too.....although probably only usefull for racing applications or with a 2"+ drop (i.e. coilovers) 1" - 1.5" shouldn't cause a camber problem.

I don't think the picture applies to the Protege. We dont use a control arm that looks anything like that, not to mention you wouldn't be getting that anywhere near the price listed. For $42, I'm guessing it's a set of eccentric bolts for the lower strut mounts.

Just wanted to double check that 1.7 in the front won't be a problem?

I'm emailing them as we speak to see if they could send me a pic of the actual kit and also what the kit includes.

Suspension travel is another story though. Jesse, how did the eccentric bolts hold there position after you autocrossed? Did you use Lock Tite or anything to help hold them in place?

So it would be a waste of money? I thought it looked pretty nice and I thought it would help get the correct tire wear but if it's just gonna look pretty then I can live w/o it:p

Where is a good place to get a four wheel alignment? I still need to have one done after changing the rear crossmember. I'm trying to wait for decent weather so I can install the Racing Beat springs, but I need to find a place that will give me before and after settings.

Chamber kit 3rd gen

Help me out fellas, I had my heart set on putting my H&R's today so i took it to a local auto shop. One of the mechanics (good guy, first name basis, been there b4) told me I should get a chamber kit b4 i think about lowering it, he went on and on about tire wear and buying new tires every six months. He kinda talked me out of it, cuz my tires are pricey and i cant afford to replace them often. I know hes lookin out for my best interest but do you think he is overreacting?:stickpoke
