brakes READ THIS!!!

hey guys i talked to my friend at fastbrakes.com and he's gonna look into making an 11 inch brake kit for the 1st gen protege. now if i ask really nice i may beable to get a kit for the 2nd and third gen. anyways the kit will include:
>¬cnc machined 6061 aircraft grade aluminum mounting brackets.
>¬wilwood billet dynalite 4 piston calipers
>¬EBC greenstuff pads
>¬grade 8 hardware
>¬brake line adapters
>¬hub centric rings
>¬2 piece directional vane rotors
>¬braided steel brake lines
anyways the kits from fastbrakes.com are seriously kickass stuff. many people who have them give rave reviews about them and their performance. i think that most buyers hang out at hybrid-honda.perf.org or something like that. i'll try to get the exact site listing up tonight. anyways just thought i'd let you guys know.
if you want in on the buy just let me know if you are in by saying so in this post.
latas guys... Blue

I'm definately interested in a kit for the 3rd gen. Can you give us some idea of cost?

Gesturewomotion October-6th-2001 09:52 PM

haven't gotten that far yet... we'll see. i do know that the loaded kit for the civic is around 847.00 us dollars...

ok the guy is looking up the specs for gen 1 2 3 protege's. he says that if they aren't that much different that one kit will be made to fit them all. if they are a bit different it might take a while to get all kits functioning, but he always starts with the first gen of any car and works his way up. latas...

Damn, I think the 1st and 2nd gen 1.8L Proteges used the same front brakes, but the 3rd gen doesn't.

Yeah, but I have no patience, I'm terrible at waiting. :D

Eric F October-7th-2001 01:40 PM
