I'd be willing to give it a try, but I would think without actually having the car there to test fitment, it would be difficult to get an exact fit. I wouldn't want to make a bunch of parts that were off just a bit.

Actually thats not a bad idea.....the real issue is clearance of the exhaust and lower brace....i could always find a Pro on the dealer lot to quickly test fit it....

I'll give it some more thought. Whenever you have time, send me some measurements.

I'm sure if i ask nicely, i could cruise the bays and find a 3rd gen/P5 on a rack and fit it up to it. The Mazda dealer here is pretty cool like that.

I'm too old to be chased by security

LAST CHANCE GUYS

Well this is pretty much your last chance to get the bars for the $150 shipped price. As it sits, i can only afford to get the number of bars pre-ordered, yes i can make more later, but the price has to go up for onezis and twozies.

I have only received a few payments, if your payment is not received by ship date (aproxx 2weeks from now) your order will be bumped to the next paid customer. Sorry, but i have announced this quite a few times, i realize money is tight, but in order to get this rolling i have to do it now. Not fair to those who have paid and are waiting.

I will even accpet partial payment at this time, i just need confirmation that your serious.

By doing this it helps in many ways, you get a great product, it helps pave the road for more parts like these (even for the other gen Pro owners) and it just helps boost community moral. (oh and i don't get stuck with a room full of bars )

Thanks again to all who have helped me to get this rolling and i look forward to other ventures in parts such as this.

Lightbulb REAR BAR IS HERE!!

I picked up the rear lower tie bar last night, looks just as nice as the front and the fit is perfect.

The ball is now set in motion, production has been initiated and i was given an approximate delivery date of FEB 27th. So shipping should commence the day after delivery.

I'll post up some pics tonight.

Exclamation UPDATE

I talked to the shop and i will have the bars on Friday (March 1st)

I have an autox event that weekend, so shipping will commence the week of March 4th.

I have been asked by some if there are still bars available, and some ppl have not paid for their pre-order yet. Sorry to have to do this, but this info has been expressed since the get-go. If i do not receive payment for your pre-order by next week, your bars will go to those next in line and ready to pay.

Those of you local can call me or come out to the autox, swing by sat eve, sun eve, or during the week.

I have used both bars under race conditions and they performed just as expected.

Thanks guys.

autox weekend

Darryl, are you going to be racing this weekend? I didn't see your name in the practice roster...
Anyway, I might plan on attending to just watch. That, and pickup the tiebars sometime this weekend.

Thanks again! Those bars look kick-***.

pretty much...the first batch was priced VERY low, i did not make a dime and there was a lot of work involved getting things in motion. Not to say i'm in it for the money, mainly to get a good product out there where i saw a void...and just a return on my investment and some "pat on the back" profit.

It's all about quantity, and i have to pay more for lesser quantities.
