stock injectors

Stock injectors will work great with your car. Unless you go very high on boost, then you need to replace them.

1. If your PRo is Naturally aspirated with stock ECU, the timing is different from a turbo car. Naturally aspirated vehicles advances timing while turbos retards it. An MSD module will prevent detonation.

2. Check out RX-7 turbo II 87-89 injectors. The plug is the round type connector like in your car, identical. IF I am correct the RX-7 II injectors are green. After installing them is good to have a fuel pressure regulator, they send much more fuel.

*about the injectors that you have I dont have any idea.

Like I said unless you go with a lot of boost over 17 psi you wont need other injectors.

I have on my car the RX7 injectors number in the injector is (195-2020) 550cc with the plastic on the top color red my car is a dx with a kia engine 1.8L DOHC and the stock dx ecu.

whats your point?

I dont know the code number, the injectors I talk about are the round type, has identical connector as the factory GT, MX-3 injectors. I know for a fact they deliver much fuel than the stock ones.

I have seen of plenty protege turbos running on factory injectors within the 7 to 15 psi mark.

click where it says GALERRIA

Check out all the turbo cars.

* hey it works good in your car, I am glad...

i have a set of those 2.2l injectors. they will fit, and work. but like majestikclub was saying, there not going to do much unless your run bigger boost or have some head work done and some cams.
but i would go with the rx7 injectors.

the 2.2l injectors are blue and say 195500-1970

The stock n/a bp injector aren't enought to feed with a turbo. I tried to leave my origninal one when i did my gtx swap and it there was detonation then i put the real 323 gtx injector in it and have not had a problem since until 14psi.

spooki January-24th-2004 04:26 PM

what size or color are the gtx injectors. just curious
