Stalls on acceleration

Hey, need some help please. 91 1.8l protege, with RX7 MAF, bosch platnum plus 4, new TPS, adjusted correctly, adjusted oxygen sensor through MAF. When I open up my idle screw to get maximum air into the motor, the car wants to stall when I hit the gas. It is obvious to me that the rush of air is stalling the car because when I put the screw in the problem corrects itself. my question is, what do I do next? Is it because it needs more fuel, ,more spark, MSD?, or a header and exhaust. I know all of these would great but I cannot afford all of this right now. Also is there a way to plug my ECU into my laptop to see what it is doing?
Respectfully, Brian

hey this may sound dumb but check to see if you have a ground strap going from the radiator support to the valve cover some times an un proper ground can cause this symptom

my car does not have one, is it suppose to?

proto 420 February-9th-2004 09:09 PM

It should mine was doing this right after my swap and I realized that I didn't put that ground back on. once I fixed that it stoped stalling. make sure that it is a good size wire.

I put on one on, it is about a 8 guage, what's the deal with these grounding strap kits I see, and also where do I get an adj fuel pressure regulator

unless you are boosted i dont think you will need an adj FPR. our cars naturally run rich.

^^^ thanks... I was wondering why my car always seemed to be running rich.... now I know it's common.
