quick question about radiator leaks

ok i got a crack in the top o my rad

is there any way to stop/slow them down??.. atleats til next paycheck when i can buy a new one? .... or am i screwed? .. should some 5 min epoxy hold it?

easiest way, and it could only hold for 2 weeks or less, but worked for me at least: let your car sit cold... and i mean you can put your face on the valve cover and it be cold cold :), then drain your radiator a little, whipe the top of your radiator off clean with some alcohol or windex, then mix some appoxy up... 15 minute set appoxy is the best to use, then take some fiberglass fabric (it's white threaded fabric used specifically in fiberglass construction) and the best way to do this is use an old paint brush and spread the appoxy all around the crack, covering an inch in either direction past the crack's edges, then lay the fiberglass cloth into the mixture and keep layering the appoxy on until the fabric is fully covered... not a single thread showing and use up what you got on the repeat layers. 15 minute appoxy will give you enough time to work with it, and it will set harder. give it about 4 hours till you drive it, fill your radiator resivior back up and let the engine run a little, filling up the resivior as needed till it's not sucking down your coolant anymore. if done right and problem isn't that serious just yet, it should hold for a while.. either than that, get the damn thing fixed.... it's bad for your engine, not to mention annoying going down the road in a cloud of smoke.
peace
