What kind of plug are you running with your gtx. The gap on mine his set at 1 you can either go to .95 or 1.1 with the normal ignition .95 his when you plan on using high boots.

well im using the $1.99 ngk plugs ;) and im only running about 8 boost right now, what would you reccomend? and for real... .095?

limpgtx May-23rd-2003 08:56 PM

.095 youll run rich with that big of a gap, ill just be blowing out the spark the turbo. i was told by a friend .030! you must be thinking n/a car.

mazdaspeedwest May-24th-2003 06:23 AM

IIRC, stock n/a gap is .043.

limpgtx May-24th-2003 09:43 AM

well i gapped em to .030, im just gonna leave em their, the cars running great.

I think i have a conversion trouble the gap i gave you his in imperial mesure. The number of the plug i'm using which by the way made a extraordinary difference are ngk bkr7evx-11 it's colder plug the guys on the gtx forum in uk recommended those to me and the gap seting to.
