Jet V-Force Power Control Module

I was at nopi looking at what I want to add to my protege and I came across this, the Jet V-Force Power Control Module for 88-00 protege's. It optimizes ignition spark, it advances and recalibrates the fuel map for optimum horsepower and acceleration. So what do you think, is it something to look into that might add a little bit of power since it's only made for the non-turbos? Or is it probally a big waste of money since it's $235.29. But i go by what you get is what you pay for and by that modow it seems like a good product that might even help gas mileage and longevity of the engine. So what do you guys think?

i've been down there to talk to them before, they can modify it for your current mods in mind. They claim a ~10whp gain. at the time is was $400...i said forget it and bought suspension parts instead.

do you think it will actually give the 10whp, or atleast do something better performance wise for the car?

yes

It gave me almost 11whp and fuel mileage is better. It took me from high 14'ets to 14'1's.

I just went to the DriversFX. They now have a PCM for "all Mazda 1990-02 Turbo" Part# 67005 only $327.53CDN
I checked the Jet website but there is no mention there of this product. I have emailed them to see if it is for real.

I wonder if this will work for me? I am sitting too close to the ECU fuel cut for comfort. If I were to disable it, I would risk getting past 15psi with no fuel map. I hope that this piggyback might provide the fuel map to get me to possibly 20psi?

What do you think?
