Installing HALTECH? Difficulty in engine bay.

Quick Question:

How difficult is it to install the Haltech w/ O2 Sensor and 3 Bar MAP with the engine inside the egine bay? My Haltech supplier is delinquent on delivery (it was supposed to be at my house TODAY but I just got word that it isn't being SHIPPED until today. That didn't exactly go over well with me.

I don't want to delay the swap anymore than it already has...so I was thinking about just getting everything else ready and putting the GTX in today. would that be couter productive? should I just wait 5 more business days? monday is a holdiay in austrailia so it won't be here untill next friday.

well . I plan to put my harness on first , but I am not 100% sure because I am not sure of what needs to be pluged in on the firewall.... I don't think it would be that hard , but you would have to access a lot of plugs and so forth from under the car , because getting to them from the sides will prove impossible. But I figure with the car on jackstands and up pretty high and you under the car, you would have access to everything that you need to. maybe even easier without the axles in the car...

yeah axles will be off...the only thing in the engine bay (other than non-egine stuff) would be the engine and the tranny.

figure just the engine tranny goes in .. and you can put the starter in from before hand. I figure you already have all the plugs(connectors) off already, and will soon be mating them to the Haltech. I don't really think you will have that much of a problem .. aside from maybe the VICS solenoids. but that should not poss to much of a problem . i would have to look at my motor again ...
Good luck with programing that Haltech, I hear it is not user friendly at all... I downloaded one of there interfaces and I was just like hell frigin no. lol !!!
