help on tranny

hey what i need to know is that if i am giong to change my clucth, do I need to drain my tranny fluid. I ask because I have heard that we (91dx manual) have a closed tranny. should i drain this? and if I do where is the drain plug. and the fill plug. I've checked Hanyes and it doesn't tell, unless i am blind. also if I do drain should I add prolong tranny fluid, with the gear oil.

yes you should drain the tranny cause when you remove the axels to remove the tranny some tranny fluid can come out and it can cause a mess. it is just easier that way. and its probably time for you to change your tranny fluid also. i used prolong and i noticed alittle better shifts but its not a big difference. i've heard that we can use both gl5 and dex so i'll leave that up to you on what kind of fluid you want to use. on mine i use dex and thats all its ever had in it.
