Has anybody replaced their clutch recently?
Did you guys/gals do it yourself? What was the $$$ damage, parts and labor (if applicable)? Mine is a 94 DX and under WOT it's starting to slip a little bit, but it still can be driven. It has 130k miles on it. I tried to do a search but I got errors. Thanks.

I got mine done like 4 weeks ago. I was just driving down the interstate and it went out. It was 600 for everything at my mechanic's place. The clutch exploded, there was not much left of it. Mine had 125000 on it when it went. I'd get it done soon so you dont have to oay for a tow truck like I did.

I did mine last summer. i thought it was the clutch but just ended up being the seal on the tanny that was leaking oil on the clutch. i replaced it anyway. im thinking i paid like 60 for the clutch set.

thanks for the reply guys. If I can find somebody with a lift, I might give it a go and do it myself. Islandpro, did you use a manual or write-up as a guide for the removal/installation ?

Yep 900 but please keep in mind that around here every thing is way over priced about cars..
