GTX Engine swap for my P5

Hi everyone,

Since you know alot more than me stuff about the 323 I think I should post my question here. I want to swap my engine in my Protege 5 with one from a 323 (BPT). Except the engine itself wath do I need the put the car on the road!

Thanks!:D

I believe I've read about this on here before. From what I hear, this swap is dificult and with the turbo kits coming out, why bother? Sure, there is probably more potential from the BPT the the FS engine, but it's still going to be hella fast, and it would probably be just as cheap to get the kit than have to worry about everything required for a BPT. It's not worth it IMO.

But for fun's sake, what comes to mind would be:

Engine
Tranny
Probably Axles that mount to your 5-lug on the front (i'm not sure how this would matter, if at all)
ECU
Custom motor mounts fo' sheezy
Possibly some front end suspension components
etc.
