Escort GT

I've heard a lot about the escort GT engine in a Pro. What (compared to a SOHC 1.8L) advantages does an escort gt engine have on a 1.8 sohc? Is it turboed, can I run a turbo? Will it bolt directly in? If there is a website with all of these answers let me know.

it is an lx motor everybody knows that. its better hten a sohc because its a dohc and it has a header avaliable for it

Yes, it is the exact same motor that is in the protege lx. The only difference is the valve cover. No it's not turbo charged, yes you could turbo it.
