engine vibration

Hi,
on my '93 I have been trying to fix engine vibration while at idle with transmission engaged on drive. It doesnt vibrate if in neutral or park. I have changed both front bottom and rear bottom mounts but no luck. I do notive by idle is like 700, is this too low? if I rev up the engine to like 900 the vibration goes away....thx for any help.

I would guess worn CV joint.
At least that's what I think
is wrong with my 91 Escort
Pony. However by now you
have likely already fixed the
problem . What was it, or is
still there?

i dont quite understand how it could be the cv joint considering thats part of your axle....but have some one check your timing...you might need to step it up or somthin like that....

I thought his car was in motion. I understand
that the CV can cause vibrations.
