Driveshaft Interchangability

I couldn't remove the driveshafts from my 323GT parts car. So when I sent the car to the wreckers, the driveshafts went with it. I'm currently trying to put the 323GT G23MR transmission into the festiva, and I realized that I need those driveshafts back, but more importantly, I need the intermediate shaft that bolts to the bottom of the block, on the passenger side.

Since I won't be able to find any 323GT's in a wreckers, can I use the half-shaft from a Escort GT/Protege with the B6T engine?

Thanks.

Probably not. Different part numbers. I'd be looking for where the parts car went.

But Capri XR-2 shafts should work (same parts numbers).

I was at the Auto Wreckers where I sent it yesterday, and it was nowhere to be found. To make matters worse, we don't have Capri XR2's up here in Canada.

Does the 1.6 liter DOHC MX-6 use the same driveshaft setup?

Edit> Yes it does. I'll grab the part from a Mx3 nex time I'm there
