Cai???
Is there any cold air intakes made for our engines?? Or does it all have to be custom made?? I searched and didnt find anything similiar to that. Can I use an AEM CAI from a 1.8L miata?? Thanks

no. Do you have SOHC or DOHC?

I know that PRM does make an CAI...don't have one personally tho, there are some posts on the board that deal with it.

i've searched, as for CAI intakes, PRM is the only manufacturer that i know of, and no, there aren't many posts at all that deal directly with this. nobody makes full intakes for our cars either, you have to custom make them. there are a few with CAI's on their first gen's, like mazdaspeedwest, but with his, he removed his coolant overflow tank to the other side of the compartment and stripped out the windshield washer resivior.

i'm going to be looking into some stuff regarding intakes and CAIs. I have been thinking about this for awhile now and came up with a few nifty ideas. Look for some info soon, after i get the tie bars/strut bars going.

just get a cone adapter and a 90degree pipe from jcwhitney or something, no need to pay over $170 for a prm intake.
