best mod: remove cat
 

i went to an exhaust shop to get one of my hangers welded on, it broke off. while i was looking under the car, saw this cheap ass catco cat that lasted not even 5k miles. rattled and look burnt to a crisp. i just moved to florida so i just found out theres no inspections on vehicles or emission laws, i said well ef it just rip that thing out while im here. at first naturally my boost was at 11, now its at 12. removing the cat made my engine feel like a whole new one. more aggressive tone, better throttle response, more pull, basically more everything. makes sense, theres no more wall in the middle of my exhaust. best mod ive done.

I'll be taking my car to monroe this weekend to get 2.5 piping, my car is basically stock, but I'm going all out pro come next spring with the gtr. I cant remove the cat. It's illegal but I can do the next best thing which is to hollow it out.
I imagine your exhaust is making you deaf though.:D

nah, my exhaust is pretty bad ass actually. i dont have a fart cannon, those are annoying to me and others. i gotta chambered muffler thats pretty much strait through. it's really quite when normal driving, but when i punch it its got some db's to it, but not nearly what a fart cannon would do.
