Auto tranny compatibility question

I was looking at some ZX2 tuning pages and came up on this site...

http://www.escortfocus.com/html/trans.html

What I am interested in are the tranny controller and the shift improver units. Based on the info i found from here .... http://www.new-cars.com/2002/ford/fo...l#transmission ... their tranny seems very similar (except for final drive ratio... which in their case is 3.74 compared my 3.833) to the FA4A-EL tranny used in the BH Protege and my Sephia.

What are the chances those two items will work with the trannies that we have?

I'd like to make my auto shift more sportily until i can find a donor car for close to nothing for my auto-manual conversion.

Thanks guys.

You're in the WRONG forum.

You need to go to the 2nd Gen Protege Forum i believe.;)

Mods, please move it to the forum where it will get the attention of more people with the FA4A-EL tranny.... (if this isn't the one... )

Thanks.
