Amount of Oil?
 

I feel really stupid for not knowing this before, but how much oil should be put in a 1.8ltr protege?

It holds around 3.8 qts.

soo if ive got 2qt bottles in it it can still hold another?

That's funny.... I just put in 5 qts, and a pint of Marvel Mystery Oil, and it came right to the "F" line... no higher than that.

Owner's manual states that the engine holds 3.8qts, or 4.0 with filter change. This is for '94 Proteges, no specifics given for what engine.
