Miles on odometer.
I have the original OEM factory alternator and all works great.
But, thru experience, I have learned that the alternator will quit one day. The question. At what miles on odometer have others had their odometer quit? And do others replace with new, used, rebuilt, etc? And . . .

just run it till it dies. then get one with a warranty.

I can go out and purchase a new alternator today.

But I am trying to find out at what miles on odometer others have had the alternator quit.

I can run until it quits but on two previous autos, the alternator quit at night and in the winter (cold). I do have AAA Plus so a ride home is there.

But at what miles, 75,000, 100,000, 125,000 did others have alternator quit?
