Act Clutch Question
I can get a act 4 puck performance clutch for 286.81 which they say is not reccomended for street use. The clutch that is reccomended for street use is 319.11 my thing is i want to be able to drive it on the street. which one should i get i want to save money so the race disk seems cheaper i don't know why. any suggestions?

i dont really know alot but may be this will help a lil'.
the race clutch is hard to press and has a harsh engagement on every shifts y? well its a race clutch it has more grip thats y its used for track only unlike the street clutch its a lil hard to press but not too hard and the engagement on every gears are smooth enought for a daily driven vehicle. |
of course they dont recommend it for street use, the thing is a bitch to drive. but once you get use to it with a lot of patience you can use it. ill guarentee the bitch wont slip.

yeah, i'll agree that it won't ever slip. the only problem with a strip clutch is that almost all of the time it doesn't have dampening springs in the clutch disc to help reduce the harsh engagement. when you don't have those springs then your transmission with recieve a very hard shock, and in a much shorter time then your transmission will go then if you go with a street/strip clutch that is not as hard engagement as the strip clutch.
