1.8L DOHC Headers...

I have visited Corksport's website and they list a pacesetter header that is emissions compliant. I can't find that header anywhere else, only the 1.8L DOHC header for the Escort GT/ Merc. Tracer. I know these are the same cars, so theoretically the header will fot right!? Has anyone tried this before, or has anyone found a header that will fit? I need to have my car emissions compliant because i'm in CA.

Thanks for any help

Yes, any header that fits the 91-95 Escort GT/Tracer will bolt up to the LX model Protege's. As long as you have the DOHC engine, it will work.

Yep exactly the same motor , everything that is sold for the Escort GT will work on the 1.8 BP in the Protege LX.

This site sells it also:
