tirerack.com did a comparision on these two springs and found out after hours of research thaT the two springs are almost identical. The h & r's were exactley .o1 seconds faster in the salom, also I have had both on a civic and well the h & R's felt great on the track and rough on the street the eibach's just felt great all the time. Keep in mine that these spring were on tokico blues, it might vary a little with different shocks.

I just put the Eibachs on my Pro5 Sunday & love them. They handle great. But, I dont think the H&R is going to be much different. I sell the Eibachs for 240.00 shipped in the US.

i have the h&r's on my '00. they feel pretty good on the stock struts, although if you go with a 17" wheel like i did, it feels a bit rough on the road, but nothing that's annoying or uncomfortable. just a little more bumpy.

If anyone is interested theres a guy on ebay that is selling the H&R's. I placed a bid and didn't meet the reserve price so I emailed him and he said he would sell them shipped to your door for $205. I don't know if anyone else is cheaper but it seemed pretty cheap too me. Just PM me if you want his e-mail.

I just emailed him about a better discount for a group buy so hang on and we'll see what kinda deal we can get.

which springs should i get....the H&R'S are my first choice but how much will it lower the mp3??....any one know??...i have been tryin to find this out since the time i got on this site..

another choice is the intrax...i heard they drop the stock protege 1.5 inches all around....that is the most i have heard on just springs.....i am eventually gettin the coilover set up when i can so this is really just a temp drop...

i know a site you can find basically everything...and if it is not there then just call them and ask if they have it....most of the time they will have it....H&R'S on this site are $195!!!!.....$25 dollars for the shipping..they are brand new parts no refuniished or used parts....straight out the box....if you gonna get springs or anything i recommend them...http://www.wholesalehyperformance.com/

The 3rd gens are much higher in the rear when stock. They need more lowering in the rear to look level. The Eibachs do this, but I'm not sure about the H&R's.

I just had Rishie's shop install a set of H & R Springs on my Protege5 and WOW, what a difference from the stock mode. Although I had yet to "test" my toy on the twisties (this weekend)
The glow of my vivid yellow P5, set's off the "gun-metal" Sub-Zero's in a way that is breath taking.......We debated the Eibach's, but Rishie has been running with the H & R's on his Black Mica, for quite some time and has been "more than happy' with them". Reason enough.
