removal of door panel in 92 S/W

beginner here looking to get at the central locking mechanism on my 1992 323 station wagon, cant work out how to remove the window winder to allow the panel to come off the inside of the door, any recommendations?

there should be a small "U" shape pin behind the handle usually if you slide the off it will release the window handle, or atleast on mine it did, its a simple task.

I encountered that while installing new speakers.
