Hey guys. How's everyone. This is my first post in more than half a year probably lol. Well on my way home from track practice last night, I noticed my head unit starting 2 make these crackling sounds. It didn't sound very good I know that. I have no idea what it is. When I pass over a bump or if the car makes sudden moves, that's when I hear that crackling sound in the speakers. I know that it's not the cd skipping b/c it does the same with the radio. I'm not sure if it's the wires in the back or not. Anyone who's experienced this or knows about this please help. Thanks a lot.

Definitely check the wires in the back. How old is the unit? Does it need cleaning?

I just got it last year. I dont know about cleaning. It's weird maybe it's some static thing I have no idea. Small bumps and stuff, it'll make this staticy, crackling sound. Whether i play the radio, MP3s, or a normal CD i still hear it.

is the sound coming out of all ur speakers, or just 1 or 2? I know that my stereo did the same thing, b4 i replaced the stock speakers, I opened up the door panel, and me having the bass up,and the speakers being old and rotted, the cone had fallen to pieces

i posted in the right section, in the audio section. anyways, it doesnt come in any of the speakers for that time period. the speakers are new as well.
