Mazdaspeed Protege $35K in Illinois?!

Mazdaspeed Protege $35K in Illinois?!
one of my buddy's friends claims that he bought his MSProtege sedan for $35k because they are very scarce and the dealer said there are people that pay high premiums for such scarce cars.
i was like WTF?! are you out of your mind??!! hahaha.
who the hell pays $35K for a FF sportcompact that almost everyone claims that its not even worth the sticker price ($25k?).
unbelieveable. even my wrx with mods only cost $37K... ill
totally rip his car apart when i see him. i tune
my cars for handling primarily so he better have some really good driving techniques or he just made a complete fool out of himself.
g-tech for my wrx claims 0-60mph 4.7sec

Selling them for sticker down here now (you just have to ask and say hell no I'm not paying another grand on top of it). If he had 35k and pissed it away like that he didn't deserve to have it to begin with.

Know what sucks, for about the price of what I paid for my P5 I could have gotten the Mazdaspeed.
I got my P5 like the 2nd month it was out. Like the week after I bought it Mazda had a huge deal and I could have saved a couple grand.

yah, i put a ? mark after the "$25k?" because i wasn't sure
of how much it was...i thought it was less than the RSX-S though,
but wasnt sure if there was a higher grade mazdaspeed protege.

im kinda pissed at the dealer that sold the car to him... will try to find out which dealer it was.. taking advantage of a young driver is no freakin joke... but $35K? hahahahaa!!!
