2004 Mazda 3 noise at low speed... ideas?
 

I just noticed recently that my 2004 5-door Mazda 3 is making some noise when I drive at very slow speeds (like pulling into a parking lot). It seems to be irrelevant of engine speed and steering. Sounds like "psh psh psh"... any ideas?

Funny that you asked, my 04 m3 hatch makes a flapping noise at high speeds I just noticed that the other day when I hit 90 on the highway. I checked and there's nothing lose, i have no idea what it could be.

mine makes a weird noise coming from the engine if i have my headlights on, and it gets worse when i turn on my high beams. like the engine is running really rough..

I have a 2004 Mazda 3 and mine makes noise at low speeds too...Like some rubber for the suspension is gone...brought it back to the dealers, put all new rubbers and new shocks on it...still the same

I had a similar problem, when flooring the gas i had a vibration from the engine bay, turns it was a broken engine support, that made the vibration, and the noise was from the vibration in between the cars metal and a part of my HID system... replaced the engine mount and tightened the ballast with an extra cable Tie and voila!
