Another FS powered Probe

Here is my 95 Probe SE. I have been working on it a little bit at a time and here is where I am at so far. Yes I know the front end needs some touch up on the paint and the stripes, thta will be taken care of this fall. Let me know what you think

Probably because we share the same engine with the newer Proteges and the aftermarket support you guys are creating is gonna be great for us. That and the people at www.probetalk.com didn't really say much about my car. If it bothers you that much I will remove the pictures and leave the site. I just thought this would be a good place to find information about my engine, and get some ideas as to how to get more power out of it.

im not the biggest fan of probes (since they look like ford rx7's )

but welcome, and im sure youll find lots of info about yoru engine
Not to be an *** here, but many people on PT have been working on the FS series engine since the early 90s. There's a lot of info that has been passed around over the years that can be a great benefit to you guys working on your new MP3s and P5s. Not that I'm trying to turn this into another PT, but if a lot of us have basically the same engine, we might as well share the info.

stupid fords!!!!

lol, jk

other than the big racing stripes and enkies, the car looks nice and clean, thats just my opinion (maybe i been to too many car shows recently, i dunno)

18" VX8's and some Coilovers would definatly rock

Im looking for someoene with an 2.0L Mx6/probe in houston so i can check a few things.

By the way, welcome Snoop, glad to have you on our board. I kinda like the racing stripes on Probes. Looks very nice. I'd maybe lower it a little.

Thanks guys for all the compliments, and it is already lowered 1 inch, I can't go much lower because of clearance issues, I already help the city out by using my car as a snow plow in the winter

Has anyone tried using a Probe header on a 3rd gen Pro? Just a thought. Another option we might have.

Talking and the Probe invasion continues...

hmm, I never knew the Probes also use FS series engine. The 2.0L Protege uses FS-DE engine, and the 1.8L (99-00) Protege uses FP-DE, what is the full code of the Probe engine that is being discussed here.

Since Probes have been around much longer, there definitely have been more development time into it. It'll be great if someone can start a FAQ on what's shared, and what's NOT shared between the Probe engine and the 2 Protege engines.

Actually the sides are universal side skirts from JC Whitney.

The American Probe/MX6 engine code is FS03, the Japanese engine code is FSZE...
