OK. So I'm not a mechanic or anything. I know how to do basic stuff. For this I would take it to someone that knows what they are doing though. I really want to either get a supercharger or turbocharger on my car. I know it's not cheap and I was told if I get a super charger I would need a new transmission of something. I plan on keeping this car and making it a project car. However something like this I wouldn't want to f*ck up so I want to take to a mechanic. I already plan on getting a cat back magna flow exhaust system, cold air intake, exhaust manifold with integrated catalytic converter, performance spark plugs, high flow fuel injectors, better throttle body, and of course new rotors and Coilovers and stuff. First off. How much Hp and tq do you think I will gain from that? And secondly without blowing anything what will I have to do to my transmission and engine for the supercharger? I read the engine would be fine besides a tuneup but that Ide need a different transmission. If so what exactly would I need? Like I said I know it's not cheap. I don't plan on dumping $12000 all at once. Mainly want to get my list done and then worry about the supercharger dream afterwards lol. Please help!! I've heard so many different things I might have to do! Please don't troll me because I'm not a mechanic. At least I kind of know what I'm talking about haha. Anything helps! I would like to get it 200+hp. Preferably 250-300hp but I know that's not an easy number to reach from stock 148hp. It's not sky active either. Thanks!!
