Does know a way to adjust the gas pedal on a 05 maz 3 so that GAS and BRAKE are on level to each other ( so heal toe braking can be done)
IF it cant be adjusted, does anyone make a new pedal to fix this problem

Did I miss something or did they stop makin the maz3 bc far as I can tell no one uses this site anymore

As far as I know there isn't a way to adjust the height. You could buy pedal covers and maybe figure out a way to get them to match each other. You might be able to put washers or spacers behind the pedal assembly and that might work. Also adjusting seat position is an option.

The problem lies with the fact that the pedals sit at different distance from the floor, very hard to heal to with a 2inch difference in height... a adjusting the seat wont do anything.

Im probably gonna take the pedal assembly off and machine a new one, they are freakin plastic anyway.

Ah I see what you mean. I have a similar problem with my clutch, I have to lift my foot off the floor to change gears after I press in the pedal. Yeah sometimes people don't respond to particular questions. I'm not sure why though. Maybe they just don't know much about the subject of which is being questioned. I've seen a lot of questions go unanswered on this forum sadly.

This forum has been dead for years. There was a huge clusterfuck and pretty much everyone moved over to the other 3 forums.
I kinda like it here because you won't have any zit-faced Canadian kids telling you to USE THE SEARCH NOOB!

This is the 1st time I've ever heard someone complain about the pedal position. In fact, I've heard more than one person comment about how easy it is to heel-toe in a 3. What's the problem?

ill upload a picture in a bit but basically my foot has to go 1.5 to 2.0 inches further toward the floor to hit the gas pedal

So after checking out the placement of my pedals and trying out the technique, it looks like I had some trouble with it too. In my opinion it seems like your foot would have to be really small to pull it off. I've never tried it so I have no practice whatsoever, and it just happens that the gas is closer to the floor so it makes it harder to get enough pressure on it. The best I could do was "little toe-big toe." And that was getting my big toe on the brake and my little toe on the gas. The pedals seem close enough, but they definitely are not at the same level.

Instead of heel-toe, I use more big toe-side of foot, and kinda roll my foot to the side to blip the throttle when decelerating.
The brake pedal doesn't have a little play before it begins to grab, huh? That looks a lot like the pedal placement in my Protege5., but once the brake begins to bite, the pedals are even with one another.

Well I fix the problem, first I made some posts and tapped each end. But it was to high. So I ended up just putting a few washers under the bottom bolt, it's perfect now. I'll put some pics up tom
