A friend of mine has some brand new winter tires he bought in February but had since changed cars and no longer needs them so he offered them to me for my mazda 3 GS. Unfortunately it appears that I have 15" tires but I was wondering if anyone would know if they'd fit anyways. I believe they're 205/65 R16 and my current tires are 195/55 R15.

You can not put 16's on 15 inch rims.
