Whenever i stop at a light when in drive with my brakes on, there is a terrible rattling noise as if something is tapping in "rapid mode"

Heat shield would be my 1st guess. Is your exhaust stock?

yeah, the exhaust is stock. i will check the heat shield in a little bit. but it sounds more like a metal rattling or metal hitting metal

Check your tensioner pulley. I had to replace mine and it was making that same sort of sound.

I even had to replace it twice.
