Check out the Tein site for the spring rates. http://www.tein.com/mazda.html As for the ride comfort I can't really say because I haven't been in a Protege with these springs. But Tein are good springs and the ride should be pretty good.

they show the H-tech's as being softer than the S-techs'.....I'm going to give them a call and see whats up.
