Hey guys,

I am looking at buying the mazda 3 in a little while and while i was at the dealer they told me a few things about the car that got me thinking..

They told me that the 2.3 motor is from the mazda 6..
Well being a Acura owner and knowing of many motor swaps between other honda's/acura's. Do you think the 3.0L motor will swap directly in the Mazda 3??

All i can say if its possible.. Holy Shit!! 220hp and 192ft/lbs in a car that weighs in at 2700lbs..

So what are your thoughts can this be done fairly simple?

hasnt been done yet.....anything is possible with the right amount of money though....

I agree about anything can be done w/ the right amount of money..

But all honda/acura cars/suv's that carry the B series motor can be swapped very easily. I asume you would need to swap motor ECU and Axles.. Maybe i'll goto the parts desk and find out the model #s ;)
