I am a mod at ERDT and have set up a groupbuy for the Kartboy shortshifter. It was originally just suppost to be for Canadian ERDT members, but we have expanded it to anywhere members.

So if you are in the states and want in, there will be no shipping charges!

If you live in Canada around the Oakville or GTA area then you can come pick them up and pay no shipping. If you are a member that is not able to come pick them up from the GTA area, then i can ship them to you once i get them but you must pay the shipping (will not be much)

alright, ive got the details on the kartboy shortshifter:

approx. depending on exchange rate fluxuations

these are in canadian $

15 pieces would be $96
10 pieces would be about $103.25
5 would be $112

No shipping. I would have them all shipped to my house and then at the next meet i will bring them. If you are unable to make it to the meet we could meet up personally or i could ship it to you (would cost very little because we are all close!)


That price is really good considering the shifter is usually $110 US with shipping (or $143ish canadian). How does this sound to everyone? If we did this we would have to use a pro5 thread pattern. (you can still use universal shifters, just not stock escort ones)
If 5 people want to do this than we will. I will then start the next groupbuy on whateve else is in demand when we finish this ordeal (if we get 5). So far it looks like clear lights will be next. (i would do them this time, but i have already got this shifter deal going!)


BTW-I realize that this was intended to be an Eastern Canada only purchase, but kartboy just e-mailed me and said they will ship to anyone in the states for free, so if you know another member who may be interested tell them to pm me!

The cutt-off date for whether you are in on the buy or not will be the 24th of July so we can figure out exactly how much the shifter will be (ie we may have 8 buyers, so it will be slighty different price than the 5 or 10 package) So dont send any money until the 24th so we know how much it will be. I am working on setting up a paypal account.

I'd be down.... I was looking at getting the shifter/bushings/knob combo from spool-turbo but, the bushings are only $25.00 alone... and I wasn't that up on getting a new knob anyways...

Hate to do this, but I might need a bit more time to decide, if I miss the cut off then thats fine, I'll deal with it.

ok guys, Im going to be extending the payment date to the 5th of August because I cannot get a paypal account working. I spoke again with the guy from Kartboy and he said that i should wait until i collect everyones money before i place the order just in case someone bails on the idea. I will have the exact amount of the shifter by the end of the weekend (so monday ) You will then have until the 5th o gets me he $.

hey, i had one of my friends send the money, its going to his house...but i dont think i emphasised the importance of it getting there by the 5th...if its not there in time (the money order is made out to u) is there anyway u could front the money? thanx man
