Does anyone have a pic of the knob installed in teh car? I wanna see how it looks in comparison to the rest of the car. It looks like it could be like the size of a golf ball but it also could be the size of a hardball, there is nothing else in the pic to comapre it to.

What kind of performace improvement does the bushings and short shifter give you tho? Is it easier to shift? Feel better? I havent done any research on this so Im just throwing a couple of questions out.

the short shifter allows you to fly through the gears much faster. your hand needs to move less. the bushings eliminate the squishy stock shift complaints. this helps the general feel of the throw. and of course, they look cool as hell :D

i think im gonna have to stop taking orders for bushings only. :( as of right now i have 18 orders for bushings (counting those paid and in the mail only) and only 15 orders for levers, and 14 for knobs. since i have to buy the entire set, whether or not i sell the whole thing, i dont think i can sell anymore bushings without a shifter or knob. if i cant sell the other two components, then it does me no good to have paid the full price, and then sold one part really cheaply.

so, in other words, if you have paid already(or have told me its on the way), your fine, dont worry about anything, i've got you covered. if you have pm'd or emailed me about purchasing the bushings only (which i dont think i have anybody in that category) dont worry about it. but for any newly interested people, if you want the bushings, you MUST buy them with something else. in other words, either a shift lever, or a knob. sorry about this, i just dont want to lose something like $75-100 a piece. hope you understand

What is the difference between the B&M shifter and the Kartboy shifter. I want to get one but not sure between the two. If someone can help me with this it would be much appreciated.

I think the B&M is a little higher quality but is about as tall as the stock shifter. It reduces the throw a lot but it's the same height.
As for the Kartboy, i've heard it lowers the shifter, and decreases the throw almost as much as the B&M. It's cheaper and uses different materials.

just to let everyone know, i put the order in to kartboy. so it should be a couple of days before things get processed and shipped, but then i will start shipping out the orders as soon as possible. I will keep you all updated on any further developments....damn ive been watching too much war coverage......

So you think you might send it UPS to Canada cause USPS and Canada Post working together is like watching a monkey drive my car. Its not pretty. Either of these always breaks or loses my stuff before it gets to my house. No problem with UPS though.

Got mine in today, and it's installed!! Took me about an hour and a half to do bushings/shaft/knob this morning between classes. It works great and feels great. It sure improves the only weak spot on the car--the shifting. I am very impressed with Kartboy's quality. It makes the car more fun to drive--Zoom Zoom!

Does installing a short shifter and bushings void anything on the warranty? My local dealer are asshol$s, so I dont want to take any changes. Looks sweet tho! :D

the only things it will void is anything directly related to it, so anything that the ss could cause to happen would not be covered.
